A gothic tale ofwel obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire infatuated with her, causing untold horror in its wake. The church business is a novel setting, and, with the exception ofwel several scenes in the final season, isn't too preachy. The characters are fairly well developed and their interaction credible.
